A control of my emotions
Control means to “contra-roll”. To roll against: Control, as taking a hand and changing.
Control also means “a counter-roll, a duplicate of the roll”: Control, as an act of checking and verifying.
To “control my emotions” could either feel like I am going against it. Actively rolling against what is going on for me. Trying to negate what I feel.
Or it could feel like taking an active account of what is going on. To keep a register. Have something to check against, and to learn from.
I prefer to keep a control of my emotions.
It teaches me more.
