Caring is scarcity

I watch a handful of movies per year.

Some assume that when I do watch a movie — it is a carefully considered masterpiece. The underlying belief is that there is scarcity: That I must use up a movie token on Something Really Good.

That is not how it works out. The stuff I do end up watching is inconsequential.

It is how it works out when you do not care as much.
Caring is what introduces scarcity.
