A friend for decades opted for the boring same. All his crockery is from the same company and the same line, unchanged.

Boring is not what he is.

Seasonally, the colours around the plain white plates change. The flowers, the arrangements, and the centrepieces captivate and make a statement.

Still, the boring crockery is there. When a plate breaks he gets a couple of new ones.
