Eternal September

The Eternal September of 1993 is when the first people on the Internet realised that they are now the minority as they went into winter.

The second wave of Internet people arrived in numbers behaving badly, and the first people could not educate them all fast enough.

The Internet as the first people knew it, was over.

This pattern happens often and everywhere. A choice is to see September as the start of winter — or in my hemisphere — the start of Spring.

That which was, was great. That which is now, is also.
