Finishing books

Being one with a reading list that is longer than I can finish in my lifetime: Finishing books stopped being important.

The value, the joy, and the new connections I get to make do not magically appear at the end of the book.

They are in the next paragraph. Even the next sentence. I read to pull at the web of ideas.
