From noise to language
Walking through the inner city for a few months. At first, I could not see it: It was all noise and no rhythm.
Immersing myself in it, a cadence emerged: Markers of where some noise starts and where others end. A grammar and then a language came from that.
Then only could I start making sense of what I see. Every day a new learning, a new piece, a new construction.
In noisy systems, I look for those cadences. It is what helps me build a language to see.
