How do you make them happy

"But how do you make them happy?" is a question that exhausts me every time I am asked.

Imagining the futility of making anyone happy. The expenditure of energy that inevitably is going to end up causing hurt for everyone involved. The intricate strands of drama that is impossible to unravel.

I will be a wreck at the end of the day, if ever I wanted to make anyone happy.
