The person saying the right thing at just the right time after being quiet most of the movie:

That right thing is never to save the other.
It is some reframe that brings perspective and clarity to the situation.

So the best way for us to say the right thing is to have screenwriters write and tighten up our lines. The second best way is to deeply trust who we are talking with and stop saving them.
