No advice

I try not to give specific advice to anyone.

It is not my place to advise another on anything. I do not know what what anyone could or should do differently. I am not them.

This is aspirational: I slip up and find myself still believing that I actually have some advice that will be particularly useful in this specific situation.

My antidote to that behaviour is this: I do give advice. And only general advice that I am willing to give to anyone.
