Particular conversations
"World peace" is an impossible conversation. We all fully agree on principle and in particular, we are vehemently divided.
There are less extreme examples that also lead to division. Because we like to be right we rarely listen to what the other says and freely offer our strong opinions.
I find this exhausting and does not lead anywhere useful. Now, before offering an opinion I ask:
What do you want me to have an opinion about?
Listening intently to that answer helps me have particular conversations.
