Same and not the same

The southern and northern hemispheres are a blur in this connected world.

The different weather of snow and sun we discard because that's just another visual.

The one thing that shocks me into remembering who has the most sun right now:

The food.

The comfort-craving warm and heavy food is starkly different from the fresh, cool, and vibrant food the other side wants.

We do live in the same world.
And we do not live in the same world, in many significant ways.
