Scarce attention

Time is not scarce. It is known and measurable.

Of course, we do spend time together. Time is finite, and it passes whether we notice or not.

Our attention is scarce.

To "pay attention" presumes that a quantity handed over as time goes by. Instead, it could be about intention, energy, and staying present.

In this way, we can stretch out our attention as wide as we want.
