Staying in my shoes

People were blindfolded to "be in the shoes of the blind" for a day.

At the end of that day, many people came to this conclusion: The blind are unsafe and cannot be on their own.

I try to stay out of others' shoes. If I am taking up the space they are standing in, how can I learn where they are coming from?
