The detail in a silly request

Eddie Van Halen was a rockstar with a rockstar attitude.

This included insisting in the band's writtern rider that "a bowl of M&Ms with absolutely no brown ones" must be present at the concert venue.

That is some huffing and puffing and blow the place down.

It was also how the band ensured that the whole rider was read. Including the intricate technical requirements to have a safe show.

If the venue read that one line they paid attention to detail. Which kept the place standing.
