Wants are not needs
Wants are not about needs, and they are only slightly linked.
Needs are important, fundamental, and we aim to get them met. When our needs remain unmet our physical and mental states are affected.
Wants are frivolous. If the want remains unmet — we could even enjoy that. Wants are about many things, and many, many wants will stay that way.
Wants are still important.
Wanting lets us know what gets us, what we desire, and what we want to explore.
Needs do not come before or after wants.
We get to want, while we satisfy needs.
