Weird and normal

What was once weird and on the edge became mainstream.

Jeans used to be for young and hip people. Now it is for everyone. "Hip" too.

That leaves a set of things in this weird place: Where we want it to be weird, interesting, and out there. Because we are doing it.

At the same time, we want it to be accepted and Just So. The difference between wanting it weird and acceptance — is how we feel about it that day.
